  • She lived in Canaan, Litchfield, CT, in 1771. In 1771, real estate records show transaction between Harmon Knickerbacker and Thankful, his wife, and "Henries Hogeboom (our honored mother)." The wording makes it clear that Thankful's father had already died.
  • About 1776 in Salisbury, Litchfield, CT: Death of Harmon Knickerbocker: Harmon disappears from Salisbury tax records. Later, his father's will shows that Harmon is dead, and that he had 4 children (John, Bartholomew, and twins Rachel and Thankful).
