This photo is marked on the back as Wesley Knickerbocker. But, it also says this person died July 10th from wounds received in Morgan's Raid in the Civil War. We think this identify is incorrect. Wesley's brother, Wilson Knickerbocker, did die in the Civil War on November 11, 1862. (Wesley Knickerbocker's military pension papers state he was in Camp Nelson, Kentucky, Hospital on July 8, 1864.) - Original of this photo in the possession of Marjorie Carlson Swett.
