Biography

John (Abraham's) Knickerbocker, B1759, was born about 1759 in Salisbury, Litchfield, CT.
He died about 1800 in VT The third John (Abraham's John?) disappeared from Salisbury. I suspect he wound up in Vermont, and is the missing link in the David Baker story. There was massive movement from Salisbury CT to VT. Unfortunately, VT records are scarce.

Who was the 3rd John Knick in Salisbury in 1790 census? 1 and 2 have birth records. 1: Harmen's John b1760, d1860 in Cincinnatus. 2: Abraham's John b1766 had lots of daughters (& later two sons). Mystery 3rd "John" had to be a son of Abraham.
John (Abraham's) Knickerbocker, B1759, lived in Litchfield, Litchfield, CT, on 2 August 1790. 3 John Knicks in Litchfield. (p 7 & 2 on p 29). "Harmen's John" 2 sons 1 dau probably lived on inherited land near Isaac, Solomon. Lawrence's John already had 2 dau's wound up with many girls. This is the 3rd one.¹
