1824: I have adopted the spelling "Andris" in this tree because it got too confusing to switch between spellings (Andrus vs Andris vs Andrius) for the various members of this line.
Andris Knickerbocker, B1823, lived in Italy, Yates, NY, in 1846. Andrus and wife Lovina of Italy, Yates County, sell property in Gorham, Ontario County (Ontario Co book 81, page 308).

He lived in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, WI, in 1850. Family moved long distances. No doubt, though, because the children's ages were consistent in each census. Note that his sister Mary was in Whitewater WI (10 miles away) in 1850.¹
He lived in Chatham, Tioga, PA, in 1860. Andrus, Lavina, and the kids. There is also an extra person of interest: Martin Knickerbocker, probably son of Andrus.⁴
He lived in North Plains, Ionia, MI, on 1 July 1863. Civil war draft registration. North Plains Township includes Hubardston, where widow Lavina was living in 1870.²
1865: Findagrave has a claim that "Andrew" died in Lake County. Based on mis-reading of his widow's death certificate. (See her entries.)
1868: Maria (his mother) buried in East Plains cemetery, 3 mile south of Hubbardston. Mary (his sister) buried there, too.
