It is ironic that we struggle to trace Alvin Knickerbocker. Alvin probably knew his roots. Alvin Jr was active in Knickerbocker reunions, including this one where genealogy was the focus. Fred Knick, next president, was from Tobias' line, so this was a wide-ranging group.
