  • April 1882: Probate notice, CT Western News, 26 Apr 1882. No biographical details. Fannie Belcher was executor. (Years later the obit of Fanny Belcher mentioned an adopted sister.)
  • 1907: Connecticut Western News, 17 Feb 1907: Fannie Belcher's obituary includes "she easily turned a helping hand to needlework with an adopted sister." (Caroline was a dressmaker.)
