Iowa towns performed the 1870 census on widely varying dates. This provides some interesting data, which suggests that Henry died in 1870, in Iowa. The last record of Henry is from a census taker in June 1870. Kellock Knickerbocker and family then moved to a different town, and got counted again in July 1870. Henry disappeared forever before the July census record.
